I ventured out to the Pacific Northwest a few weeks ago, and I fell in love. I fell in love with the moss, the mist, the food, the beer, the coffee, the culture, the aesthetic, even the ever-present rain. The region has become one of my favorites, and I dream of returning soon.
And because of my amazement with it all, I took a plethora of photos. Photos of waterfalls, mountains, coffee shops, winding streets, car ferries, and many, many snapshots of food. Sadly our car was broken into during our short stint in Vancouver, and everything was stolen. Including my memory cards containing all these lovely moments.
I’m so thankful for today’s technology that allows phones to become little pocket-size cameras. And for photo editing apps like VSCO CAM that transform ordinary cell phone images into something much more. The following frames were taken with my phone.
